Our T-shirts are inspired by Alessandro Tizzi’s watercolors, Italian markets, the world of summer, and the carefree spirit of the season. A journey through the iconic Mediterranean landscape, to be discovered as you sail from island to island, capturing the intense and varied shades of blue in the sea and the warm colors of flowers, fruits, and vegetables.

There are three designs:

• sardines, which, bathed in sunlight and surrounded by the sea, look like silver (“sembrano argento”;
• the striped beach chair, which came from the sea (“veniva dal mare”), as Lucio Dalla sang;
• the sun, because it relaxes, soothes, and grants a respite; because “with all those planets revolving around it and depending on it, a bunch of grapes can still ripen as if there were nothing else to do in the entire universe” (Galileo Galilei). Turn your face toward the sun, and the shadows will fall behind you (Maori proverb). Who, in such a beautiful temple, would place this lamp in a different or better spot than the one from which it can illuminate everything at once? Therefore, it is not without reason that some call it the light of the world, others the mind, and others the ruler. Trismegistus calls it the visible God; Electra, in Sophocles’ tragedy, calls it the all-seeing one. Thus, indeed, as if seated on a royal throne, the sun rules the family of stars that forms its crown. “IN THE MIDST OF IT ALL STANDS THE SUN” (Nicolaus Copernicus).
